DOL 26 Sensors is a Small Sensor Suited for Feed Pans

Due to the mechanical design of DOL 26, the sensor is ideal for inclusion in small applications with limited space such as inside feed pans in poultry farms. In this way the sensor is kept away from the reach of the animals.

Detects Loose and Solid Material

DOL 26 is a capacitive proximity sensor for detecting loose and solid materials such as feed, plastic or wood pellets, grain, and bedding. The sensor can for example help ensure sufficient feed distribution in livestock houses or distribution of the right number of pellets in a pellet stove.

Hardened Design for Agriculture

DOL 26 is specially designed for the harsh environment in livestock houses to withstand high humidity levels and high dust levels. The proximity sensor is fully temperature compensated with a wide temperature range.

DOL 26 is immune to EMI, short circuits, and any overload. No more burned off sensors due to installation mistakes!

Different Versions for Different Needs

Low Power Consumption

The DOL 26 sensor has a very low power consumption in off state. This gives the possibility for sensors working in parallel on the same contactor.

Easily Trimmed

DOL 26 is easily trimmed with only the use of a screwdriver. The sensitivity of the sensor can be fixed or adjusted using a trimmer to suit different types of feed. The ON/OFF delay and MaxRunTimer of the sensor can be fixed or adjusted using a trimmer to suit different motor control units.

Smooth and threaded housing with straight cable

DOL 26 comes with smooth or threaded housing as SCR, PNP and NPN sensors with different voltage (10-36 V DC or 20-280V AC/DC).

The sensor comes with M12 cable as PNP versions (smooth and threaded) and a NPN version (threaded).

These variants can be made with two or zero trimmers.

Smooth or threaded housing with angled cable exit

DOL 26 has a unique design since it comes with an angled cable exit. This cable return variant makes it easier to mount the sensor inside feed pans, since there is often a need for turning the sensors upside down. With the cable return, there is no need for stripping the cable, which means less risk for damaging the cable.

When placed inside the feed pan, the sensor is kept away from the animals and thus better protected.
